During the current “Corona Virus Lockdown” we are available to discuss your plans for a special celebration. We are also happy to reserve a date for you, which we will hold until travel restrictions are lifted and you can come for a showround. Yew Lodge Country House hosts many family and social celebrations, both daytime and evening and can tailor your event to suit you and your preferences.
Groups of 20-50 people can enjoy the Oak Suite which offers a collection of rooms including a reception room, lounge bar, dining room and conservatory. The style of the Oak Suite is in-keeping with the attractive period features of the house.
For larger parties of up to 140 people, the contemporary Sycamore Suite is a perfect setting with space for a band/disco and dance floor.
Each Suite opens out onto a private patio with occasional seating, and the beautiful gardens.
We also host events outside in our 10 acre gardens, including garden parties and BBQs.
We offer a wide range of catering from canapés & drinks receptions, informal dining, two/three course meals or an afternoon tea. For some initial ideas and guide pricing click on our menus tab below.
In addition to the price of the catering there is a venue hire charge which depends on the day, time of year and chosen suite. The venue hire gives you “exclusive use” of your chosen suite and everyone can truly relax. You can bring and display cards and photographs to make the whole setting personal to you.
We also have a full bar and wine list to suit all palettes.
